Aurélien Davennes Born and raised in southern France, Aurélien (he/his) received an M.A. in Anthropology and Sociology from the EHESS and Sciences Po. Paris.,

His current research project explores Vodou beliefs and practices among the Haitian diaspora of South Florida.

Davennes has an expertise in Caribbean Studies, American Studies, Postcolonial Studies, Anthropology of Magic and Sorcery, Ethnography, the African Diaspora, and Gender & Sexuality.
